We all get stressed out from time to time, it’s our body’s natural response to certain situations, but I want you to feel good and conquer your stress
Today I’m sharing some great natural herbs and remedies to reduce stress. Thankfully we have natural herbal allies to help us relax, rejuvenate, and come to a quiet place of rest and relaxation.
1. Kava: Kava (Latin name Piper Methysticum) is a non-addictive medicinal South Pacific plant species belonging to the pepper family. The plant – also known as asava pepper or intoxicating pepper – can grow to an average height of six feet, with heart-shaped leaves that stretch 10 inches wide.
I found a Kava bar in Miami you have to join a club and be part of the Kava community.
Studies show that valerian reduces the time it takes to fall asleep and improves sleep quality, so if you can’t sleep, it may be just what you’re looking for. Unlike many prescription sleeping pills, valerian has fewer side effects and is a lot less likely to result in morning drowsiness.
3. Hypericum: the famous St John’s Worth. This herb is one of the oldest known to humans, and its use dates back over 2000 years. It is very effective for moderate anxiety and depression. The flowers and leaves of Hypericum are full of natural phytochemicals and can be used internally as well as topically to tone and restore the health of nerves. Hypericum is not intended to be a replacement for standard medical care, however, and you should check with your doctor before using it.
4. Passionflower: finally, a native of America, is a potent sedative also used to improve digestion. Used by the ancient peoples of America, its use has persisted to this day.
