In one of my previous post I told you about the alternatives you have to wheat flour, especially for gluten-free diets for people with celiac disease and gluten intolerance. That is why today I bring you an easy and super useful oatmeal recipe.

Homemade oatmeal flour is a healthy alternative to wheat flour, maintaining the nutritional values as cereal, and providing properties essential to the diet. If you are diabetic, you should know that this flour is an excellent choice for cooking, without your blood glucose levels are affected.

Preparing homemade oatmeal flour is also easy and economical. Gluten-free products tend to be more expensive, because many people ignore the possibilities and facilities that are preparing food with no wheat germ. So you know, if you need flour to make a dish, Try out oatmeal flour!

Make your own homemade oatmeal flour

This is how to make it:

Ingredients:

  • Natural oat flakes (found in any supermarket or herbalist) can be whole
  • Tool: Blender

Preparation:

Place all oat Flakes in blender and whisk until a consistency of fine sand. The idea is to mash down the oatmeal completely.

NOTE: Do it slowly, not to kick up dust while grinding up the oats.
